Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT is CSA?
CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) programs are an agreement between farmers and customers.  By purchasing vegetables and/or flowers pre-season, members receive a share of farm vegetables/flowers on a weekly basis.  CSA members are assured  seasonal selections of our area's finest and freshest certified organic and biodynamic vegetables and flowers, all below farmers' market prices!  To learn more about our workshare program, click here.

Is Biodynamic Food Better?
We think so, and here's why:
Biodynamic agriculture regenerates soil and the farm ecosystem through the application of special preparations, treating the farm as a closed-system/farm organism,  working with the cosmos, and developing a spiritual connection to the land.  The end result is healthy soil that grows healthy plants to feed healthy people engaging in healthy communities.  We think you'll taste the difference.

Can I split a share with another member?
Yes, there are two ways to split a share.  You can either pick up every other week or divide your share each week.  If you choose to divide your share each week, please split it up away from the scales to reduce congestion as pickups can be quite busy.  Some weeks members will receive an odd number of cabbages, onions, etc., so be prepared to work this out with your share partner.  If you choose to split your share, please include your pickup partner’s information on your signup sheet.
