We started growing cut flowers in earnest in 2017 and haven't looked back. It has been pure joy to grow the many varieties that survive and thrive at 6200 ft and 43˚ North. Living in the Tetons, where winter weather can dominate for 6 months out of the year, we really appreciate when spring turns the corner to warmer weather and green grass and flowers emerge throughout the Valley.
Participating in a Flower CSA in Teton Valley can add so much joy to life. We choose the species and varieties that blossom into the most abundant growing season of color, vibrancy, form, and texture possible. We know you will be amazed to experience a season of cut flowers grown in Teton Valley. Seasonal mixed bouquets will be available from July through September for 12, 6 or 4 weeks at our weekly CSA pickup site. You do not need to be part of our veggie CSA (but you can be) to join. A flower CSA is a wonderful way keep you smiling all summer long. It could be a gift to yourself, someone special in your life, or even a business, store front, or non-profit organization.
This will be our fifth season growing flowers as part of our farm production and it makes perfect sense in the context of the farm. The flowers contribute to creating a healthy and diverse farm environment by providing habitat for pollinators, building soil, and enriching microbial communities in our expanding perennial gardens. They also contribute to a more beautiful and enjoyable farm experience for all. The local flower movement is starting to spread and has really awakened on our little farm. We hope you will join us as we forge ahead with holistically grown flowers!
